Zack/Tifa Wallpaper

Well, I've been getting in touch with my artistic side and I bring you my first creation. I had learned how to use photoshop a few years back, but it's been a while since I've created anything. Now, being the broke student that I am, I can't buy photoshop, so a friend suggested GIMP. This wallpaper was made with that program, and though it's not

I'm working on the next chapter now, which will have a couple of surprises. I hope to have it done by tomorrow. As for ZackTifa, I know. There are so few, but I'm really hoping to finish the one I have and start another one pretty soon.

Aww, thanks! I started out with a VinceYuffie one, but I kind of drifted to ZackTifa and managed to finish this one. I'll go back to the VY one in a bit, since it's rather plain with a black background and no other effects.

I'll consider this one my first one though. I'm also attempting to make some icons, but I only have two done so far. We'll see what I can do after I've finished a fic update.

I want to see your stuff now too, so hopefully you'll get at least one up? Are they CloudTifa?

Ah, okay. Whenever I don't have a background in mind, I always use the Blend Tool. It's on the left-hand toolbar in GIMP and it's really easy to use.

Yours still looks really nice, especially since you seem to think you're out-of-practise.

Hehe... I'll post some of mine if I can figure out how to get a picture posted. I have two that are kind of Cloud/Tifa, but most of them were at the request of friends. (I'm still working on yours!)

Sorry, but I left this comment without replying! I haven't tried blend, but I have been using screen for the textures that go over the pictures. I'll be sure to try that one next. I'm going to get to yours tonight and hopefully it won't take me a long time. Any color preference? Because I tend to favor softer colors and I don't know if that's okay with you.

Oh this is so pretty! :D I really like the affects(effects?) you made on it. It makes it so light and and shiny and nice.

And it doesn't look at all like you're rusty. It's very well put together and there isn't any awkward bumps or glitch-like things. :) I have no idea how to use GIMP or photoshop really and I'm in awe that you can use those confusing programs. O_o

You know how much I love Fack too (actually, I think you were the one that made me get into it! :D), so this is really awesome.

I can't wait to see your other ones!

Thank you! It's been a while since we talked, hasn't it? I hope you've been doing well in school and all. Btw, how's the driving going?

About bumps and stuff, Zack's arm gave me quite a bit of trouble, so I decided to hide it... ;). Hopefully my next attempts will be better than this. Don't worry though, since GIMP and photoshop always managed to confuse me at one point or another, and I still have a lot of stuff to learn about them!

And yay on helping to turn you over to ZackTifa side too! I managed to shove ocvalkyrie(above this comment) a bit in the VinceYuffie direction, so it makes me all giddy to make people like other pairings. Anyway, it was nice hearing from you!

Hehe. I saw this down here and had to comment. Yes, V-Ninja hath turned me over to Vincent/Yuffie. I used to hate them almost as much as I hate Cloud/Aerith. But now, I actually kind of like them. I'm still hesitant to write them, but I'm getting there ^_-.

I'm glad you kind of like them. I hope you start warming up to them more. ;) I actually didn't care for them until I manned up and read a story about them, and then I was like, HEY I THINK I LIKE THEM. WHOOAA?
