Did the wackos invade your LJ? Too bad there's not a wacko alert alarm which sounds everytime they start to post. Perhaps this is another job for our favorite hit men...

I think I just posted at the wrong time, and when you do that, things have a way of shaking out. Plus, I'm all about preventing unnecessary drama. I can't stop everything, but I can put the brakes on a lot of nonsense.

Too bad there's not a wacko alert alarm which sounds everytime they start to post.

Would that there were, Margroks, would that there were.

Perhaps this is another job for our favorite hit men...

Hmm... ;)

Well, somehow, I don't think it's ever inappropriate to post on your own LJ. Your own part of cyberspace and screw 'em if they don't like it. When I saw who was posting that day, I knew you'd undoubtedly get a few posts that were basically, "You just don't like ED! She's the bestest Lois EVAH!" with no regard for what you were actually saying. Some people go beyond their own personal picks and pans and have a very weird personal agenda that knows no bound; logic and reasoning is not a part of the underlying basis for their opinions.

Ignore 'em. Post what you will.

I didn't see it coming, which makes me a little naive - and I shouldn't be after surviving Smallville, Season 1 far too long on the WB boards (dude, I was there when there were NO MODS - can you imagine?), the influx of Clana shippers on KSite (you do remember Meredith, don't you?), and various and sundry cyberspace freak-outs since arriving on LJ in 2002.

Ultimately, it's as simple as "I'm not you. Don't expect me to behave like you would under the same circumstances." And really? Do not dictate to me.

Some people go beyond their own personal picks and pans and have a very weird personal agenda that knows no bound; logic and reasoning is not a part of the underlying basis for their opinions.

Absolutely. It stings to have gotten caught in that trap. Again, I should've known better.

Ignore 'em. Post what you will.

Wouldn't have it any other way. *g*

Good God. Meredith Welling. Alive at Sweet, no doubt along with the rest of the people who can't distinguish fantasy from reality. I wonder if there's a website just like Sweet for people who think SVLois is the best character portrayed by the best actress in the universe, populated by extremists just like Meredith? Called Sour, perhaps? Strangely, some people who were formally too much like Meredith are now quite rabid about "Lois" in almost the same way. Their arguments will quickly loose any pretense at an actual civilized discussion and devolve into nonsense, invention and probably name-calling.

I won't spend this hiatus involved in squabbles or power plays. Which is why I'm very content in the ever-shiny Tom Welling fandom.

I'm so sad we didn't get a movie out of the guy this summer. I miss the shiny on the big screen. I was really surprised he didn't take on some role this year.

Me too. :( Although, after watching bits of CBTD2, may he never play another teenager. We need him scruffy and manly.
