I never knew that about you. :O I did hear from someone that you and Steph did go through something like that ... if it's not too intrusive of me, what exactly did happen? :o

I do remember being a bit surprised when I heard about how depressed and withdrawn you became back then; I tried not to be, since I hated it when people are shocked when they hear that I get sad too. :P You just seemed like a happy (Or content, rather), emotionally stable person and I couldn't even imagine you being so sad. :( But I do think it WAS pretty cold of her to just drop you like that, no matter what happened between you two.

Recently, I've been thinking of the world in a very give-and-take sorta way, a bit like Karma, I suppose. I'm really happy that Ryan has been able to revive your outlook on life and restore those feelings of being loved and supported. ^.^ So maybe 17 was a really bad year for you, but I think you've gained something even more back for your suffering. :3 I've experienced the same as well. You two really do seem happy together and perfect for each other. I was ecstatic for you when you told me two years ago. Hehe. :)

Sure, I can tell you what happened. It would be easier to actually talk about it instead of typing it, though. Kind of long and whatnot.

Actually... I'm really a bit of a mess emotionally. I'm just so used to pretending and presenting a front that I do it naturally. I cry for no reason, I get horribly angry or horribly depressed at the drop of a hat (I'm not bipolar... I just have insane hormone fluctuations that fuck with my head). It's not been so bad in recent years, but I still apparently present a watertight composure even around my closest friends. So far, Steph and Ryan have been the only ones to notice when I'm lying about feeling okay. Steph could do it about 90% of the time, whereas Ryan doesn't pick up on it as quickly (I'd guess about 70%) but doesn't stop trying to cheer me up until I smile for real when he does notice.

I sound like some sort of twisted anime character that always smiles and never means it, but it's actually pretty much true. I wish I wasn't so twisted, but I can't help it. I took one of those "what anime character are you?" quiz things online and I was Seishirou from Tokyo Babylon, which was kind of scarily true. ¬.¬; -Only I promise I don't murder people like him. But I do REALLY enjoy the bloody bits in video games (Bioshock and FEAR make me giggle). :D

Daaaw, I can empathise with you. I used to be like that all the time but this year has especially turned me around. Even then, I cry for no reason here and there. I'll go into antisocial periods. I'll let lethargy completely consume me, even though it depresses me. But a lot of people would have never suspected that I go through any of that.

Well, perhaps we can hang out Sunday afternoon/evening, m'dear? :D And then you can tell me .. and irrelevant anime-watching and randomness will ensue!
