"He scratches his balls!"
So you guys know, i get the title from a conversation i had with a whole bunch of my fellow students. Have some crazy dude in our class who is stalking a few girls, and really making me feel eh, not so comfortable.
School has been moving along fairly quickly, and i must say this year has been much more enjoyable than the last. Though it's been made more enjoyable due to the fact i see Lisa 3 days out of the week as opposed to the once a week if i was lucky, kinda helps. But mostly, my teachers have made this "learning" experience well worth it i suppose. Speech and Italian class have to be the 2 best. Italian all we do is talk to each other, which makes it really quite enjoyable. Speech well, same thing sorta heh. Cept it's made more competitive by the few good speakers. Lisa leading the way of course, with her mad overachieving skills. Though the person her and i need to top is Andrew, who is probably the best overall speaker, at least for his outgoingness. Lisa does have the most organized speech of any person in the class, and the best lack of "ums". I fall somewhere between the two, my organizational skills are lacking, due to my laziness, and my humor is somewhat different from that of Andrew's. Though for all the work i didn't do, and the fact that i like to wing my speech, i think i'm doing quite well. Another person who we need to worry about is Vincent, he had the same issue Lisa needed to work on, but other than that, he's the male version of her. So right now the only people who i feel threatened to be better than are Lisa, Andrew and Vincent.
Lisa gave her second speech monday which really set the bar high for everyone giving a speech that day, and well, the 2 groups that are giving them next Wednesday. Lisa did so well that the other students were talking about her during break. She did indeed kick major ass. She also added some humor in towards the end of her speech, which was great, since it through us off. She also was especially pretty that day with that oriental dress she wore. I am a sucker for those dresses >_>.
So anyways, this weekend i need to come up with a speech which i've had 4 weeks roughly to work on, which of course i have yet to start. I also get to go against 2 of the 3 people I personally am competing with. Though i'm hoping Andrew and I both do well, because most of the speeches last Wednesday were really quite lame, with the exception of Lisa's.
Job hunting is actually looking up finally. Was able to show off a little at a pet store that was hiring, and i talked to the manager at the GameStop in the Westminster Mall, he's already getting to know who i am, and that's basically putting my foot in the door! So here's to hoping i get a job!
Only reason i am typing this stuff now is because i just finished my essay that is due tomorrow. Which is the definition of love. It probably won't get a good grade, but from what i've seen with the other students, i really don't need to try hard at all to get a better grade than them. Oh, the title of my essay i think is quite clever, which is "Love, oh Really?". Had the only title that stood out in class.
