Sweet. My backpack arrived today. Ended up buying it online. Relieved that, upon first inspection, it looks like I've made a good purchase. I shopped around locally a bit but didn't find anything that impressed me all that much. I had a particular idea of what I wanted; something that would be supportive, lightweight, not too big, rainproof, easily secured, easily accessed, and without one of those humpbacked day pack attachments. I think I've found all that with the Eagle Creek Truist 55L pack. Still have to take my measurements and fit it properly. Might also end up ordering some storage compartments so I can organize and stack all my belongings in separate compartments within my bag.

Which reminds me... I need to sell stuff. If anyone (all 2 or 3 people who read this?) wants to buy an Ampeg 8x10" bass cabinet or a Fender Geddy Lee edition Jazz bass, get in touch. I guess I should throw up some Craigslist ads.

And last but not least... To help get me even more psyched (get it? PSYCHED?! Oh... but you will, just hold on a moment) I downloaded the Cambodian Rocks compilation. I dare say that there is no filler on this excellent collection of psychedelic rock from the 70's. It's awful that more thank likely all of these musicians were executed by the Khmer Rouge during their reign of terror.
