Adjustments
Okay.... so dropping forty pounds does come with a new mindset or should. I haven't really gotten mine all the way yet though. I knew I lost weight, yes. So I crossed my fingers and made myself a pattern size smaller then I usually wear thinking between the weight and the corset underneath.... this should fit, hopefully. I had two bodices that I was worried about. One fit okay, little adjustment needed but easy fit. The other.... was somewhat of a disaster. It overlaps four inches at least in the back! I am freakin stunned over that one. The corset itself... almost closes which it didn't do when I bought the damn thing. I have an inch maybe and then it will, save for my hips but I've had four kids. So I am just going to have to face facts about it, I am going to have to make a new corset, In a pattern size 16. Wheeeeee! Oh look I just happen to have one of those and it is one of my favorite patterns too.
Got some handsewing done today on the projects. Also cut some things out as well. Will get back to hard core sewing tomorrow, but sometimes you need to get the things ready to sew after all.
