Monk validation
So what is it like meriting against a fully merited meat eating monk with Shura + Dune boots of the same race?
Well.. Feels pretty shitty actually.
Last night I was invited to this Set Meritpo.
Camp: Weapons came in sky main entrance
Part: brd/whm, rdm/whm, nin/war, war/nin, 2 x mnk/nin
My avg hit is 50-80dmg, while the other monk hits for 70-100. Asuran Fist, my ranged from 600-800, while the other monk hit 700-1000. I used sole sushi, the other used Red Curry.
The frustrating part is that even if I manage to get my hands on a a shura body, I don't think I'll ever have enough accuracy to move from sushi to meat w/o giving up my katana merits. The only saving grace I had going for me was that my haste setup was able to out TP the other monk, which led to me taking on a fair share of hate.
At this point, I don't know what I'm doing wrong, it was very embrassing to say the least, not sure if I'll ever get invited to that set party ever again. Am I the only mnk/nin that struggles to hit 1K dmg on Asuran Fist?
Also, I'm getting mix info about using Brutal Earring during the WS. I know this game will only allow a player to hit the mob upto 8 times per attack round, but if you miss one of the hits in the base 8 hit, does Brutal kick in? If it does, then I will keep it, otherwise, I'll go back to macroing atk earring back in.
