Eat, drink and sleep monk

Been a nice little 5 day weekend from me. Friday through Tuesday.

Didn't get much done on the game besides doing some hardcore monk leveling, which I sorta started about 1 week ago. Went from 48-62 during that time. Definitely am due for another monk entry before I forget what happened.

The few levels in the late 50's has been good to me, those levels went by like a blur in the new zones fighting against the bird type mobs that likes to steal your TP and Food. No parties expected me to SC, they just wanted to me to spam Raging Fist the entire time, which I have no problems with doing. ;P

For Monk accuracy food, I'm beginning to think that Sole Sushi is a big waste of gil...

I mean don't get me wrong, I'm not a closet sushi user. Usually, when I arrive at a exp camp, I would survay the mobs in the area, and if majority of the mobs con low evasion, or neutural IT and VT's, I use attack food. But if majority of them all con high evasion, or neutural, then I eat my sushi's proudly.

Recently, I was on my way out to exp, and after doing a quick inventory check, I realized that I was running low on Sushi (Thank you Torama's at 59). At that time the AH was completely out of Sole's, so I decided to gimp it with the Bream sushi. Well that turn out to be a blessing in disguise. Here is the stats for both:

Effects for Bream Sushi: AH price @ valefor = 12K-24K per stack

* Dexterity +6
* Vitality +5
* Resist Sleep
* Accuracy +16%
* Ranged Accuracy +16%

Effects for Sole Sushi: AH price @ valefor = 40K-70K per stack

* Strength +5
* Dexterity +6
* Accuracy +15%
* Ranged Accuracy +15%
* Resist Sleep
* HP +20

So both food has the same amount of dex, Bream has 1% more acc, while Sole has 5 str. A drk was running parser, so I asked him how well I was doing personally in damage and acc between the 2 sushis. Well, it turns out my acc was the same between the 2, and I suffered no noticable dmg lost from loosing 5 str, in return, I get 10 more HP back per Chakara.

So from now on, Bream's will be my sushi of choice, unless I meet another monk with same gears that can destroy my damage output with the Sole's. :)
