True Blood 2.01 and others
Yesterday night I managed to watch the new season premiere of True Blood. I'm not such a big fan of the show, but it certainly grew in me since the pilot last year, and after the big season 1 finale I was pretty curious. I'm kinda disappointed actually. I'm still not sure whether about the pilot, or something else. In a few bits I felt the impression the actors were into a school play O_o Don't get me wrong, they're all very good, but in certain moments their reactions were kinda "exaggerate".. Anyway. Between the finale episode last year and this one it's clear it's been some time, so I was a little confused about what was going on. Sookie: why can't she just enjoy her relationship with Bill instead going all Dawson and stuff? Jason, her brother, still gets on my nerves. Even more than Matt (from Nip/Tuck), which I thought it was impossible.
What I found very interesting was where Lafayette was. It was so painful to watch (at least for me), I like the guy, and the way he disappeared last season and seeing the conditions he's living in now..poor guy. And what's best is that at the end, we kind of find out where, well with whom, he is: Eric. I didn't expect it, really. I was waiting for his appearance the whole episode but, since he didn't show up I thought he would join the cast later in the season, instead..tadaaaa! Awesome!!
Instead, let me spend my two cents on Chuck. I heard about it, and I was pretty curious to watch it, but no so "looking forward to", if you know what I mean, cause I thought it was a little too teen. Well, I was wrong. I've been pleasantly surprised by this series! I started watching last week (on local tv), and I'm already very into it! :D Too bad it got canceled, it's a very good series, it's funny, there's action, love, good characters..I really like it!! If my HD was working I would have watched the rest of the season.... :(
Anyway, still haven't washed my car. :/
Going watching Supernatural reruns now. :)
