Been a busy few days in DC, for both good and bad reasons. Work is going fine, and I've been able to hang out with a few friends since getting into town. Met up for a beer with Brandon last night, and saw Mel and Kev for a bit later on, which was cool. Also been spending some late nights with a friend whose going through a rough spot...it's hard not being able to 'fix' things that are so painful immediately.
Getting ready to head out to meet JSun for dinner in a few. It'll be nice to see him; it sounds like his new house and roommate are working out well, and good things are happening for him at work. I'm happy for him, and I'm still glad we're still friends through all of this.
Haven't really heard any specific updates about my grandmother lately; I'm still planning on heading to Roanoke on Friday night, and am currently planning on staying through Monday afternoon...
