You know, I'm even hesitant to admit to trying out pilates but anyhow,
While at the station today, the ladies at the station have been doing pilates as their workout. Now, I move around stations, being non-shifted part time -- so I wasn't there when they started it. So they invite me to workout with them. They tell me its a lot like yoga, but more abdominal work. So I'm like okay -- my tummy could use a little more definition to it, I'll give anything a whirl once.
So well, we move all the furniture so all 5 of us can lay on the floor. And we start this 45 minute pilates workout tape. And I'll be the first to tell you -- that stuff is not easy. I'm good and flexible, so yoga is fairly easy for me. I did this pilates stuff -- good grief. That stuff really isolates your tummy and butt muscles. I'm so gonna be sore tomorrow. LOL.
The girls on the tape definately proved their tummy tum was way more buff than my tummy tum is ::grins::.
