Having lunch with my fellow law school students always cheers me up :O) Just a comment, not that I wasn't cheerful this morning at 6am when I woke up, I'm just saying. Last week was cool, a barely adequate number of cool things happened.
School had NESL week, that just means they had a bunch of corny events (though they were fun) And most events sponsored by the school take place at bars (now I understand the propensity toward alcoholism found in Attorneys). So, I had several opportunities to drink with my new classmates. On friday the drinking took place on a boat (the boat tours the Boston Harbor while you drink) I brought my roommate, and we had a good time (an interesting time, since she was fairly drunk by the time we got there and had a little more to drink once we were there, but a good time nonetheless). Ofc ourse we ran super late, and had to run in the rain in order to not get left by the boat (it made me feel better that the girl in my class who we were meeting also ran super late so we all had to run together). After that Jackie and I went dancing at a pretty nice club, she used to date a guy who works there so we did not have to pay a cover charge (the vast vast majority of places here have a cover charge, so it sucks to go out late and pay to be there for just an hour or so). On Saturday I went to the birthday party of one of Jackie's friends (I really like her friends a bunch, they're all cool)
I also helped my old boss on Sunday (he still has not found a secretary and is falling behind) and I realized I really did like that job, so that was pretty cool.
So as you can see, nothing too interesting happens in law student's life... (or at least this law student) I still love law school (the honeymoon stage) and I'm doing pretty well, but I guess the two quizzes this week will be the final word on that.
I have to go do a bunch of studying and work on an assignment because I wasted a lot of time this weekend (thats new...ha!) and now I have to catch up.
