I was messing around online early this morning, and went to look at his site. At the time, it had the "I Think" message without the picture and the color across the middle was kind of a pink/fuchsia. A little later he had added the picture where it is now, but the color across the middle was purple. Now he's changed ( Read more... )

Oh him *rolls eyes*
I'm glad he's kept that photo though, it's rapidly becoming one of my favourites.

Teal/aqua??? It's purple...

You know thinking on it, he has enough interwebs knoweledge to run a forum so maybe he was the one helping the Disco with their silly Internet hunt back at the beginning of the year.

Pfft. Yeah. Purple. Refresh it and see what color it is then. I'm dumb.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if he was helping the boys with their internet craziness at the beginning of the year. Totally capable of it, and definitely sounds like something he'd have some fun with.

lol, I tried editing but you'd already replied!

Was gonna say: f5-ing a few times it went purple, teal, purple, yellow, brown, mint, blue, forest, blue, purple. Clearly he's fond of pastels and enjoys amusing me with my f5 button... (yes I have just made up 3 different colours of green)

Oh, and I think he totally knows now that we're following him! He's probably sitting at home in Vegas wishing he could be in good old UK for Glasto tomorrow!

Actually, he specifically chose colors found on the spray-painted Cadillac in the photo. There are only 8 colors it cycles between. It's right there in the code.

And and and, if you click "I Think" it takes you to http://www.rockthevote.com/ not so subliminal messages???

Is he trying to get people to vote? I don't understand your American voting thingys enough to even know who that other dude that's not Obama is Shane, dear. Please be explaining.

Yeah, it's all about voting and making your voice heard. He's not saying he supports any one specific candidate, just that he wants us all to get out there and register to vote and participate in the whole process. Very smart way to do it, IMO. And that's what Rock The Vote is all about. Not supporting a particular candidate or political party - just encouraging the 18-30 (or thereabouts) population of the US to vote.
