While I still had to invigilate, I would occasionally work out hypothetical cheating strategies in my head, both for personal amusement and to be in a position to thwart them if they ever came up. It is a little worrying that one famous technique from fiction would actually have worked where I currently am until about three years ago. This is the "Scullion's Scholars" approach from Porterhouse Blue, where an entirely different person (usually a penniless grad student) turns up to sit the exam instead. It was a weight off my mind when the University finally started insisting that the candidates bring their photographic ID cards to every exam.

Ooh, that's been a plot for more than one book, I seem to recall - and yeah, they do that for my Uni too, you have to have your student card. It was a bugger for students who had lost theirs though, the first year they brought the rule in. There were tears.

Hello, pretty lady! I'm the Italian lady from the Merlin fandom, remember me (I was wearing a long hippie skirt and brown top at the expo)? :D Just letting you know that I finally got around to adding you!

Also, since you're lucky, someone put on youtube a video of the signing at the panel - and there's you in it *__*!
