Nanowrimo was a bust. But it did teach me something, which is that I still enjoy writing, and I can still catch the writing wave and just go with it, even if what I churn out is pure drivel. I'm not giving up on my novel yet, it will just take me a little while.

I also learned that I have too many interests right now. They are making up for the fact that work rarely relies on any of my actual talents, except when they need presentations and emails edited (I love editing stuff, I really do). I'm taking karate, hiphop (when I manage to get out to Burlington), I signed up for a few one-on-one ballroom dance classes, I'm going to take a intro to sewing machines class next week, I've gotten into beading and I'm still drawing occasionally and making dolls. Out of breath yet? No wonder I never post here anymore.
