Back to normal...with a twist

Tomorrow the faculty and staff return to ACC.  That includes me...I'm faculty, a statement which still makes me twitter with glee.

I suppose that there will be a couple of department meetings to figure out how to cram over a week's worth of information into a few extra classes.  My students should be fine.  My afternoon class is only one day behind and I started them one day early, so they're right on schedule now.  The evening class will only have to cram one extra class in.  They can do it, my evening students are the smart class.

As for the nursing stuff...oiy.

I fear for my little brain.  We have missed two theory classes, two clinical days, two dosage classes and  a skills lab all with midterms slated for the second week of October.  I'm gonna be busy.

Mom and Dad are comfortable here.  They both ~finally~ get it that their little house should be condemed, actually and legally condemed.  They are considering their apartment options, which is a good thing.

One more piece of evidence that I am a complete nerd - I want a textbook for my birthday present.  It's a drug reference program for my Palm.  It's not one I need for classes, but it would be really cool to have.  yup...feeling the nerdiness!

I did not get as much studying done as I would have liked, but I was trying to get ahead anyway.  I will not be behind when classes start, which will probably be more than many others will be able to say considering how some are still without electricity.
