Off Gadding This Weekend...
Well the cat has been dropped off at the cattery, the train tickets are... *damn* knew there was something else I was meant to do this morning!
Off to see my old (don't tell her I said that) friend Di-diddley in Sheffield - A five hour train journey... boredom!
Anyway a good time should be had by all: we'll get to see her new place (she's only been there a year!), her parents new place (they move tomorrow knock on wood), and on Saturday we are off to see Def Leppard - Yeah!
When I started taking my self off to rock concerts about 20 years or so ago *suddenly feeling rather old* - so I didn't have to go on my own ('cause you know the sort of people that go to concerts! *snorts*) My Dad use to get sent with me! Some of them he liked (Iron Maiden, Fish, Bruce Dickenson etc), he came with me to see Def Leppard once..... he found them too pop-y - which is a shame 'cause they usually rock.
Dad also always wanted to see Guns 'n' Roses, but he refusses to do "out door" venues!
