eeek, where do I start, too? :D

Restaurant - yes, it was in the first briefing that Hardison had, the one when Nate told them Eliot is their mark - but in the chapter still says it's the lunch, not breakfast. At that point I couldn't know how much time would Eliot need to do what had to be done. I'll change it later.

Nate&recording the scene - it was an attempt in extremely dark humor :D he was reffering to their recording of the initial shooting in the warehouse - if they now record Villacorta killing him, their collection of Eliot beeing shot would be complete. Move along, not important for the plot :D

Eliot¬ being shot. - The first time he basically said that to Villacorta was in their phone talk, and he repeat it to Lady Killer ( remember he had to hide from her how weak he was?)knowing she would confirm that to Villacorta. That detail rearranged all hospital doings into THEIR play, and gave him an opportunity to accuse Chileans from the warehouse of double play.

Sophie&Eliot not reading V - she was right. Precisely, she WOULD be completely right if Eliot was grifting him, but he wasn't - it wasn't conning or grifting, that was a war negotiations. Eliot was thinking about how he can't read him, and he was disturbed by that, until he figured out that he, in fact, doesn't need it. He had his side to play out, and V reactions wouldn't add much to that.
