Finally awake
Well we've been home from our Las Vegas trip sense Late Sat night. I think I'm finally awake to actually post about the trip.
We landed in Vegas around 10:30 Wed. Morning there was a mess up with our rental car so we didn't get the convertible we ended up with a Mustang without using point and paying less then we would have for the convertible for one day.
We got to the resort and found out that we had been upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite with a jet spa tub in it as well.
I went off to my scheduled massage and crash187 went to buy breakfast food for us sense we had a full kitchen in our room.
We then got together with a friend of his from his childhood that lives in Vegas. He showed us the town. Really I believe we went in and out of all the different casinos that just seemed to intertwine with each other. We finally called it quits around 12:00 or 1:00 Am which really meant sense neither of us took any sort of nap and were still on Detroit time we were up for 24 hrs.
I woke up like my usual self very early in the morning. We played some slots before having lunch and then it was off to our resort tour ( tried selling us a time share) Then it was off to have drinks with my Lawyer who just happened to be in Vegas as well staying in the same Hotel.
Then it we had to hurry so we could get to crash187's V-day present. Which was a helicopter ride over the strip. The look on his face when we were in the helicopter was priceless he looked like a little kid on Christmas morning opening presents.
Fri. was our day to bum around and do what ever. We went to the state line to an outlet mall to do some shopping and on the way back he let me drive the Mustang. We drove through a scenic park and looked at the mountains.
All in all it was an AWESOME time. We had so much fun we've already started planning our next trip back to Vegas. Our plans at this point are going over his Birthday in Sept.
