Not a bad day.
The kids each opened 5 presents, which is a good number.
The biggest hits of the season:
Obi-Chris's Bionicle
Dollface's baby doll with stroller
Jonner's Wizard of Oz puzzle
Miss Vic's china doll. She collects them.
I got a picture of my late grandparents in an antique frame. Grandma is probably my age in it. I look a LOT like her. And I got some Vanilla Sugar lotion from Bath & Body Works. I inherited a snake bracelets from grandma. And Dad's girlfriend (dear Karen, I remember when she made me Barbie clothes. I must have been all of 7) got me a Mary Englebreit calender. That will go well with the Louvre one Dad picked up (medieval lesbians for Feb.)
I also found Harry Potter Story Scopes at the Dollar store. Everyone had to have one. Mine's an amber look, with Ravenclaw inside it. And I got a new crochet book called Curly Cuties which is baby afghans.
And I'm done making Barbie clothes for the neices. I'll go see them tomorrow.
Other sister made her trip to Cincinnati just fine. She asked me how our drive was. I said "I was about to trade the Mommymobile for a tauntaun, actually." Told her I turned Miss Vic prematurely grey with some of my skids.
::Randomness::
Sitting 18 inches from cooling pumpkin pie makes one hungry even on top of a full meal.
Finishing the sequel to "Tell it like it is." (Hi
walkerminion) The end showed up somewhere on I-70.
Great cartoon in Over the Hedge:
The critters all got presents. RJ the racoon is stroking his Frodo Pez dispenser and cooing "pressssioussss"

Cold back here in the study.
