I was awakened by the phone this morning. My boss saying "Come to work, ASAP, here's the address." Latkes not sitting well, apparently am not digesting onion.
I found my uniform and got all ready to go. Then I noticed my hair. So oily Halliburton had erected a sign near my ear announcing plans for a derrick.
Quick shower, quick egg mcmuffin and avoiding both construction and an overturned sugar truck got me to work 90 minutes after the call.
Came home, showered again (warehouses are filthy), threw the kids out to play in 60+ degree sunshine. Went to the bank, shopped for kids' birthdays. Napped far too long.
Dip for dinner. (It's hamburger, tomatoes and cheese, only with chips instead of a bun. More veggies than a hamburger) Sloppy joes, with potatoes and green beans tomorrow.
Talked to The McCoyote, she's sick too. But she has a cute, schmoopy BDSM fic in the works.
Made scrapple for breakfast tomorrow.
