Still in a fight
I am still in a fight with my DS. Maybe this makes me a total dork, but I cannot seem to beat this one boss. I know what to do technically, but it does not seem to be working. To provide the details, I am on the gongoron boss of Zelda, and you have to switch back and forth between two characters, and I for the life of me cannot figure out how to do it.... I am sure I will figure it out at some point, but if anyone has pointers I would greatly appreciate it.
So......we are fighting.
This weekend was crazy we had to go to Chuck E Cheese. I hate that place. It is like kids all on crack, and if you are at a birthday party they pack you in like sardines. The saddest part of the whole day was that i witnessed a dad swearing a LOT at his daughter. She was around 11, and I will spare you the details. I pulled her aside at one point and told her that he is not allowed to talk to her that way, and that she should tell a teacher, or the authorities so it would stop. But I have no idea if it actually will do any good.
And on that note, there is a little girl in Phebe's class that they had to call child protective services on. She came to school telling people that her daddy was beating her mommies head into the cupboards and that is why she was late to school. This girl is SO sweet. She always runs up and gives me a hug when I come to pick up Phebe, and I feel awful. I wish there was something I could do to help.
Enough of the sad news. On the upside Bill and I redid our entire budget and we will be doing so much better now, and I like that. It is a huge load off my back now.
I am excited for the lost premier this week. We have been waiting forever to see what happens! Yay!
Ok. I guess I should actually work now. Lame.
