I'm really looking forward to see what you get!!!!! I have to admit I didn't read everything, but what I read sounds really interesting! I almost want to start writing myself! ;-)

Hehe, I worry that I write too long letters and nobody will have the energy to read it all. ;-) I'll be thrilled to get a story in any of the fandoms I'm requesting, that's for sure!

The challenge only guarantees you one story, but people seeing your requests may be inspired to write more, so we can always hope for many stories!

Well, If i would have to write a story for you I would have read it all, of course! Just because it's nice to give someone something he really wants! Maybe I'll read it all later, when I have more energy...but what you wrote sounds interesting!!!!

And one story is also nice, isn't it? Maybe if I have time I'm gonna do something with this post, but i can't promise anything yet! But I'll wait and see and I'm looking forward to see what you get!

Oh, one story is definitely more than good! I just wanted to clarify that my request won't necessarily generate a flood of stories, lest you be disappointed. :-D One new story in any of these fandoms - and with my favourite character(s), too - will be beyond awesome. There definitely isn't enough material around on any of them, even if some are more written than others. (ie. I don't think I've ever seen Csárdásfürstin fic...)

Ow I do know that it normaly get's just one story! Makes me even wonder more what another will pick and what someone else will write! I'm really looking forward to read it! And you did not choose fandoms or characters about whom is much written, so it will be very interesting to read the results!
And there can be a first time for everything? What isn't excisting, can be written, can't it?

OK, I just remember having talked about having gotten several stories in the past - because people are allowed to write extras - so I wanted to clarify that one story/recipient is still what normally happens.

Yeah, one of the awesome things about Yuletide is that it can generate fic for fandoms that previously had little or no fic at all. Or characters - there definitely was much less Alfred fic (ie. almost none) around before I and some other people I know began to request him in Yuletide!

I don't know how you've mention it, but I did understand the system! But it's always good to explain it one more time, just to be sure! Thanks!

I indeed found somewhere fics written for this project, I guess? And it's really interesting and can generate also the interest for a character! Really nice it worked so well for Alfred! There is so much if him unexplored yet!!!!

I recall also hearing that some fandoms got to active thanks to Yuletide that they stopped being eligible for Yuletide because after enough years they weren't small fandoms anymore! I think it happened to Good Omens... So it really can work to make a fandom exist and become more active!

Yes, there is so much left in Alfred to be explored. That's also why I felt okay requesting him for the third year in the row, because I think there's still so many stories that could be written... and I want to read them! (And I'm kind of sad there aren't many requests for Tanz this year, because last year I also had a lot of fun writing Alfred fics for other people. :-D)

It's so nice that such projects can create new fandoms and so! It's so enjoyable to read stuff from people loving something as much as you do and thinking about it as much as you do! I can understand that it works for others the same way!!!

Not that many Tanzfics? How can that happen????? It's a shame, but I can also understand that some people want something else this year...I would not mind asking Alfred also, since there are so much things left! I hope someone is writing you an Alfredfic, just because I'd like that too! But your other requests are very interesting too, so...whatever you get, it will be great to read!!!!

I don't know why there aren't many Tanz requests... On the list it says there are only two Tanz requests, so mine and someone else's. The other person doesn't even seem to have written a letter like mine, at least I can't find it where they're indexed, so I can't know what the other request is like before they go public on December 23. Last year there were four or five Tanz requests, and all but one included Alfred - I had fun writing!

I made sure to pick requests that I will be equally happy to get fic for, whichever fandom my writer is writing. Although I babbled more about Alfred than others, but that's just because I've read more fan reactions to Alfred and fics about Alfred than others, so I had more thoughts about where to clarify where I stand, if the author wants to know...

Hmm...a shame that it's just you request and one other...and a shame that you can't read what the request was, cause more Tanz stories are always nice of course!!!!!
And 4 out of 5 included Alfred? Damn! That's really cool! I didn't know he was that popular!!!!!

It would be unfair to pick request you'd actually don't like...a writer would work on that story and you won't be that happy because it's not what you expected...so a good think you'll be equally happy witht them!

Last year he was! Don't know about this year because I can't see that other request...

It would be weird to request something you don't like, but I definitely also don't want to be requesting one thing I really want and two others that are like "well, I guess this'll do if I have to request three, but what I really want is this one request". If I had such a situation I wouldn't sign up. But luckily I always seem to find enough fandoms I really want fic for.

Well, that mean an improvement for Alfred! One time he'll get the attention he deserves!

And of course it would be weird, but I have that always a bit with making wish-lists, althought the differences aren't that big, I always have one thing I want more than the others, I don't know how that works...but my head seems to rank everything!
But I would be capable to think of three fandoms I would be happy with...
I found your Rudolf request really nice! There is not that much from him, isn't there????
