Yuletide links, again: after the author reveal

Jan 08, 2009 13:49

By the way, since the Yuletide reveal is over, I suppose I could take a moment off my lunchbreak to admit to which stories I wrote.

The main story was for Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. The recipient wanted an Oberon/Titania romantic story, and I came up with Wayward Dreams.

In addition, I wrote a couple of short Yuletide treats. They were written rather quickly on Christmas Eve, so I apologise for any deficiencies in quality, but I hope they still were at least somewhat enjoyable.
In the Elisabeth fandom, I wrote a short Franz Joseph story for fyrie: In Silence, about Franz Joseph receiving the news on Elisabeth's death.
In Roméo et Juliette, I wrote a very brief Tybalt/Mercutio story called Reward for BluePeople, because this person had such awesome requests I had to write at least something about them. I'd have liked to write a much longer Tybalt/Mercutio story than that, really, but since there wasn't time, I decided it was better to write something than nothing.

I have a New Year's Resolution story in the works; it was originally supposed to be a Yuletide Treat, but I didn't have time to revise it before the stories went online, so I decided to post it as an NYR instead when I have the time. I hope to post it soon, I just need a quiet evening at some point so I can revise it and have it betaed.

In addition to the Yuletide stories I already linked to on Christmas Day, I myself got a New Year's Resolution story: another Mozart! story with Mozart and Colloredo! I haven't had time to read it yet, being so busy and without a good internet access, but I will read it as soon as I possibly can. But the author very much rocks for writing it!
