Car knowledge wanted please!!!

Who can help me check out a used car tomorrow. And I don't mean stand beside me and say: "oh, it's really cute and red and pretty" but show actual knowledge and be able to see if there are things terribly terribly wrong with the car.
It's near Amsterdam, I'll pay for public transport and coffee or lunch or something, but you need to REALLY have car knowlegde...
