I tried not to care about elections this year, then I found out that my super huge is running for senate, and I graduated, umm, coming up on 9 years ago...

I'm still not caring that much, but my surprise about the Rhino ticket is that I'm not sure if they're backlashing against Feds as a whole, or whether this year's exec has been notably deserving of backlash. It's true, most years, any decent person can probably not flush the Feds down the toilet, and some times the other 3 can make up for a 4th (wow, I went looking to remember Sai Kit Lo's name, my apologies if I'm opening up any raw memories, and welcome to the club of many of my friends, including those I convinced to run...), and then every so often you get a ticket that throws hissy fits directed at the wrong level of government, and sues the school for $11 million. Things seem to have been relatively competent based on my observations from the other side of the railroad tracks, and talking to those I still know at UW. (I wonder if one of your readers will call me out on this the next time I see him...)

But honestly, if you can't win against jokes, then you don't deserve to, and I bet these people who are mocking the process are probably going to be perfectly cromulent, if not achieve any great success.
