So there's this place called "Cultures" in the Conestoga mall. It was added after the food court was renovated. I had never gotten food there before, so it was mildly intimidating.
See, burger-and-fry joints are simple. Do you want cheese or bacon on your burger? Do you want chicken? Though there's a big difference between McDonalds and Burger King and Wendy's and etc., it's the same basic idea. But the more exotic restaurants tend to be wider in variety. Since these restaurants mess with the "burger and fries" formula, they need to present as much information to customers as possible, so the customers aren't "lost".
Which brings me back to Cultures. Most of the combos available followed the formula of "healthy meat main, drink, and two salads." I got a chicken wrap, diet cola, Greek salad, and fruit salad. But here's the thing: the salads weren't labeled. If I didn't already know what those salads were called, I'd have difficulty ordering them. That does not make an exotic restaurant inviting to new, possibly timid customers.
