Thanks for that great tutorial. i finally got this thing to work!
Can i ask you another question about gifs?
On tumblr more and more people make gifsets using the 245x<300px to put 2 gifs from the size of 245x139 in it, so instead of uploading only 8 gifs they upload 16 gifs. Which is all kinds of cool, but i wanted to color the separate 245x139px gifs differently, but whenever i copy them into the 245x300px frame the colors overlay and everything is screwed up :(. Usually putting them in groups stops this problem but somehow that doesn't work, can you maybe give me a tip or link me to a tutorial on it? Thanks again for this one :)
You're welcomed! :) and sure, yes i know those photosets, if you don't want the colorings to blend together and want to color each part separately, try using the shape technique we used in this tutorial, like for example make the 245x139 gif in a rectangle 245x139 sized, you know why? because it helps when you want to separate the coloring because you will make the layers of your coloring only visible for ONLY this part, then you select all the frames and all the layers and then copy the frames then paste them on the other gif (after you change the canavas size) you will find more details on this in the circle gif part! :)
Jesus, you really are the best when it comes to explaining animation riddles to me, it finally worked, yay. Thank you, thank you thank you, you're the best.
Wow, this is so useful ! It sseems so simple when you explain it...I'm sure i will struggle to even reach half of the steps you wrote but it's worth trying =)
