So after research and the students depart for home-stay,
Alexander brought me for a walking tour around the boulevard circle
First arrived at Alexander Pushkin (1799-1837) subway station.
Got out and saw the theatre square with Pushkin statue.
The church where he got marry and in front of it has a statue of him and his wife
A side note, if you reckon there are too many cars in Singapore , try Moscow.
Then finally tried MY MY (MOO MOO)
I'm starting to adapt to Moscow food.
After a hearty dinner,
continued to walk and arrived at their parliament house.
The bridge is known as the hunchback bridge.
Many protests took place here esp the miners and their helmets.
Next
Continue to visit the next Stalin skyscrapers.
There are 9 and I think I've seen 4 to date.
They look alike, so I'm really impressed they can differentiate.
I suppose it's the location then.
So this has been turned into the Radisson Royal Hotel
And it's near their CBD area with a tall tower known as world trade centre
Continue my walking tour........................
I actually walked and climb the brightly lit bridge.
To watch the fireworks.
They were celebrating Chemist day on 20th May.
Then took a subway that went across the moscow river,
change to another subway to reach the area I was staying.
With that I took the tram back.
I am absolutely impressed with my endurance!
So it was another 3 hours work + ard 1 hr dinner tour of the city.
Walking continues on Sunday ....
We first arrived at the train station at 1030am.
There's probably one thing I like about Moscow.
It's so rich with historical buildings.
So full of history. Each building seems to be a part out of history text!
Even inside this train station has such beautiful painting.
Monastery visit at a small town 1 hr 20 mins train ride out of Moscow
To cut thing short,
The highlight was...............
After Monastery
I walked nearly 40 minutes to reach the city through such terrain.
Nice hiking trail!
Here's a couple of pictures of the scene!
I'm well trained here for a start.
