amanda's mom once told me, "you have the highest highs and the lowest lows of your life during high school"

that rings true, especially now, which is this totally bizarre transitional time. the switch from relaxing to working isn't as shocking and difficult as i imagined it would be--i'm enjoying my time in school more than ever, i love all of my classes (except calc, but what can ya do?) and have already bonded and reconnected with my teachers & also ms. kenyon and dr. maurer. teachers treat seniors totally differently, they bring more of themselves into their work and their interactions. i'm already starting to feel those "i'm-gonna-miss-this-special-little-place-called-hunter" pangs.

but it's also really fun, that whole mime thing this weekend was pretty cool. (plus, happy one-year anniversary to us! (yesterday. (we went out for ice cream after my OCC.. awesome))) seniors: if you ever want to be [even more] TOTALLY TOTALLY TOTALLY excited for college, talk to ethan. even bunjee (sp?) cord shopping with him today was really fun b/c he has this whole freshman glow thing going on (between yawns--that boy gets no sleep.)

...but we still have a lot of senior things left to do, lets not get ahead of ourselves. i'm already bullshitting ICY stuff (writing an article for 5hr instead of actually going to williamsburg?!) and feel somewhat badly about it.

ps
is anyone else already thinking of "losing" the lit "anthology" in order to buy it & keep it?
pps
don't get detention
