i got my report card today (too bad you didn't, Katie, BROOKLYN RULES!!!) and my grades went up in every subject except for spanish & english, which remained the same.
best subject: english (i loooove dr. scharff!)
worst subject: math
my mother's friend in adolescent psychology asserts that teenage girls who are in relationships shouldn't be if their grades go down. well, good.

my alternate for myth (oh i really hope they run it...) is creative writing, but now i'm having second thoughts since Zoe (who is just fantastic) says she misses not taking a read-a-book-and-discuss-it class this year. but there's a reading-and-discussing aspect to creative writing, and i'd rather write creatively than write FLEs. definitely.
