Another panel at RCFM?
My panel poll didn't turn up much as most of the responses were on the order of "it should be about furry stuff." But I have been asked if I'd be interested in being on a panel about Animaniacs since I am a fan, and so are many of my friends.
If this panel happens, kinkyturtle will also be on the panel as he is both an Animaniacs fan and a Guest of Honor at RCFM. If jmaynard decides to go to RCFM, he certainly belongs on this panel.
When the show was still being produced it would have been easier to justify this panel. Nowadays there might not be quite as much general interest, but every once in a while I still get a comment about a shirt or my watch. And July 25 of this year what will hopefully be the first set of a series of Animaniacs DVDs will be released.
The panel needs a few starting points, and I can think of a few possibilities:
* The upcoming DVD release of the first season.
* What got you interested?
* Favorite episode/character?
* Least favorite?
* "You know you've been watching Animaniacs too much when..."
* Other Warner Bros. cartoons of the time (Pinky and the Brain, Freakazoid!)
* Ideas that didn't make it - or should not have.
* Side effects or real world effects.
Those are a few ideas. I do not claim they are all good ideas (Good Idea - Bad Idea?) so suggests for improvements are welcome.
