Weekend Plans
I'll be staying home or at least close to home Saturday while jmaynard is in the Twin Cities for something parliamentarian related. I'm pondering going to see the Wallace & Gromit movie.
Sunday will be different. If Jay feels like travelling after the trip to the Cities and back and all, we'll both go to Sioux Falls. If he's not feeling up to travel, then I'll go by myself. The plan is to arrive at Taste of India around noon and have lunch with melissasutton (and company, if any) and then she'll show off the new Siouxland faire site. I don't know anything about the new site other than it has been selected, so it'll be interesting to see it.
I also have my usual comics to pick up, which includes whatever arrived for September. Between the Iowa Renaissance Festival, automotive maintenance, and spiking fuel prices I simply didn't have a good time to make the trip last month. There's also some other shopping to do. At least one item (and likely a few) will require a visit to a mall and I intend to do that before the Official Christmas Shopping and Pounding Headache Season really gets started. I want to be done with holiday shopping before Thanksgiving.
