Kept him warm in the winter, left him frozen in the spring
My, my, how the seasons go by
Ex's & Oh's - Elle King
A friend posted this video on Facebook. My, what pretty pretty boys.
Two young men from Brittany, France are doing an internship at Stevens this fall. They will be here for 3 months total. The horribly sad thing is that no one greeted these young men when they arrived (one comment I over heard was, "We didn't know you were coming."). They are largely left alone and while they seem to be doing their work diligently, ugh, this is NOT how to treat visiting foreign students.
So me, I'm from the South. This means I will get all up in your bidness. Have you found good places for lunch? Are you seeing the sights? Would you like to come over for dinner?
Thursday, I will be feeding two very nice, very handsome young Frenchmen. Menu is as follows:
Butternut squash bisque
Roasted shrimp with orzo, cucumbers and feta
Honey crisp apple roses with sharp cheddar cheese
Czech white wine
I hope that they will find it enjoyable. Stephen bought all the things we could not get at the local Farmer's Market today at the grocery store. I am really excited about this meal. It is something I am really looking forward to.
This week has been better at SIT. I have an office. I have a lab. Equipment is being ordered. Tomorrow I will buy some chicken feathers for the beetles coming from California. I have had phone calls about data. I have had meetings with collaborators. I am actually beginning to work. I like it.
