This is kind of how I feel about school most days.
The scanner kind of killed it.

I had an amazing birthday week/weekend last last week. My floor threw me a lovely surprise party and it sort of...continued into the weekend. I am completely oblivious to life because I had absolutely no idea anything was being planned. I'm an idiot.
The best gift by far was a sketchbook they all made for me -- each person left a little message on the margin of one of the pages for me (left room for me to draw in it still). SO COOL. I also got dinosaur heart-shaped earrings and a snazzy new drafting pencil! I ♥ my friends.
Unfortunately I returned to real life this week and have a bunch of work to catch up on. I've been oddly homesick the past few days, which isn't helping much. I miss my little brother a LOT. I don't even miss home cooked food or my room nearly as much as I miss Aaron. :( I'm mostly just hoping it'll get better; if not, I'm heading home on the 14th for his birthday anyways.
Honestly? I think I just wish I felt less overwhelmed by school this week.
