wedding leftovers
according to hubby's colleague that somewhere out there there's this tradition of freezing and keeping the wedding cake for 1 year, and to be consumed by the couple on their one-year anniversary. It is said that by doing so, you will enjoy longlasting marital bliss. myth? perhaps. anyhow im still keeping mine lest its true! :P
and im still keeping most of the wedding stuff, if not all. suppose to get a box to preserve them but we are too lazy to drop by ikea, so they are now scattered all over my spare bedroom.
one of the most troublesome wedding item i kept is my wedding gown/evening gown. need to take it out at least once every mth to air it, dust it, or else it will turn yellow. all these efforts is in hope that i will be able to wear it again one day, if i manage to maintain my figure that is, for a 2nd photoshoot with hubby in greece, or that perhaps one day, when my daughter is getting married, if i ever have a daughter, she will consider wearing the gown her mom wore when she married her dad.
