079. The Same Old Thing, Eeteuk/Yesung
It was the same old things that kept Yesung insane - or at least that was what he believed in. His gaze was fixed on the box where most of the stuffs clutched a memory of him and Sungmin. It hurt him, yes, but most of all it disappointed him - disappointed him up to no end that he had actually believed that he and Sungmin would be more than friends one day.
Of course, it wasn’t Sungmin’s fault that he could read Yesung’s mind but that wasn’t what disappointed Yesung - what disappointed him was he placed too much hope in his feelings that he didn’t even bother thinking twice about failure or something alike.
“You’re really going to throw those things away?” A voice that sounded so familiar whispered onto the sun shaded room where Yesung was staying and he just smiled as he saw the other stumble on one of the random thing that was scattered on the floor. He smiled apologetically onto the latter and he was answered by a roll of an eye and a high-pitched laughter. “You won’t burn that, right?”
“Do you think I could?” The latter willingly shook his head and a smile had crept up in Yesung's lips making the other sigh in relief. “Of course I can’t do that Eeteuk.”
That was a fact that Yesung didn’t want to change - that a part of him was still hoping for Sungmin, still longing for the other but then he knew that impossible, especially now that Sungmin had found Kyuhyun - the only mind he couldn’t read but it was the same old things that made him remember that whatever relationship he had with Sungmin - once existed and he was thankful of that.
Sungmin was just a part of him he can’t let go.
