Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
Less, I guess. I didn't write any >10,000 words, either.
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in 2010?
Stuck to WC, even though the canon is not my friend anymore.
What's your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest?
The Trouble We Make Vs. The Trouble We Take. I like writing Neal and Elizabeth and I like writing Neal misbehaving.
Did you take any writing risks this year?
Not really. I think writing Neal as doing not particularly nice things is somewhat risky, given both the canon and the fanon. But only risky in terms of fewer comments. And I'm already writing Gen, so that pretty much sets the bar low to begin with. ;)
Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?
I want to write WC deathfic. And I want to revive SGA fandom to finish off some of my WIPs...that seems unlikely.

Most "Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story.

Most disappointing
For the lie that's written on its face. I wanted to write the story of how Sara switched from antagonism to attraction towards Neal, since the show skipped over that little bit. But that would have been a lot longer and no one would have read it.
Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters
A Woman of Heart and Lenience. It was challenging to write Peter-Neal-El at odds, and keep them in-character and interesting. And avoid woobifying anyone.
Story with single sweetest moment
I guess Balk, No Call, Safe because Neal gives Peter a glimpse of his son.
Hardest to Write
A Woman of Heart and Lenience. Trying to be realistic without being boring, and to keep the story progressing when 85% of the plot was "Neal sulks."
Easiest story to write
Christmas Gone Astray. Written in like an hour. Took me longer to pick a title.
