Unfortunately, Sheppard had the belt crisscrossed over his wrists the day his people showed up to rescue him. There’d been two tantrums during dinner, one because Sheppard burned himself on the pot and one because he wanted to crawl under the table and climb up Ronon for comfort afterwards. I'm seriously in awe. I liked it way more than I thought I would when I realized the full extent of the premise. And I'm glad it remained gen even though it could have slid into slash without much effort. This was awesome, thank you!

Thank you! I thought slash would take it to a much darker place. I'm glad you enjoyed and thanks so much for leaving a comment.

This was excellent! A great AU, and nicely told from a POV we don't get often enough--Ronon's.

Hopefully in the future no one will recognize Ronon's crazy half-brother when Sheppard visits certain planets...

Thanks so much for the comment! I'm glad you enjoyed - Ronon can never get enough love.

Hee, poor Shep having to deal not only with the usual trouble but Pegasus people thinking he's brain-damaged, too.

I enjoyed this. It was an interesting premise, and I think you did a great Ronon voice. Some authors seem to want to make him sophisticated in a way that he isn't on the show, and some dumb him down, but this felt exactly right. I also liked the understated descriptions of what it was like to live alone in Sateda - very lonely and sparse. An interesting look at Sheppard, as well.

I really enjoyed this, though I'm surprised the slaver didn't give Ronon a manual to that device, knowing he was from offworld.

A manual for the Pegasus galaxy would come in very handy, wouldn't it? But men never read the directions! :P I'm glad you liked it, thanks for the feedback! :)
