Despite the fact that Mayfield's sun rises and sets quite regularly and that this evening would be no different, Midsummer's Eve is simply something that Finland can't pass up, and as such any neighbours or passerbys may ( Read more... )

[Crowe's passing by, but stops to lean on the fence and watch the fire. He'll give Finland a little wave.]

Moi, Crowe! Happy Midsummer's Eve!

It's a bit of a strange feeling, you know? The sun doesn't set during the summer at my home, so it almost feels like it's still spring or something. Then again, the weather is also much warmer here than it is at my place, but at least it's pleasant instead of too hot!

That must be something. I've never gotten to see that. I've been to Finland in the winter though, because my dad always had us traveling there for skiing. Norway too. I've gotten to see the aurora borealis though, which is fantastic.

[He chuckles. Every nation he's talked to, whose country he's visited, always gets so happy to hear you've visited.]

It is! I'd love to see it again sometime. And I could definitely go back - it's lovely. Maybe sometime I can go in the summer.

[Finland in particular isn't that well known, so knowing that someone has visited his home makes him positively elated.]

You really should! The summer is a lot of fun too.... the weather is so nice and people are always bustling about in town! And if you came during the right months you'd be able to see the midnight sun!

I definitely will. Seeing a midnight sun will be a weird thing for a night owl like me.
