A few days. It took me a while to get the hang of it.

I'm hoping to finish it within a week, but that's probably just hopeful thinking on my part.

I'd normally be really happy if someone offered to help, but this is a birthday present, so it would probably mean more if I did it all myself. What do you think?

I don't really get it, but if that's how quilts and sewing is supposed to work, I can't really say anythin'.

I don't understand it very well either, but it has to work out somehow if I try hard enough, right?

Yeah. Just make sure it's not gonna be somethin' that the person you're givin' it to won't like.
