My Chemical Romance
My Chemical Romance finally made it to Australia, Melbourne at the end of last year and I got to meet them! It was amazing, and here is the whole story:
Twas a warm December evening. My friends and I were sitting outside that bar at the back of the hi-fi bar (you know the one, unless you’re not from Melbourne in which case you probably don’t). We were sitting quietly drinking our…I don’t remember what we were drinking…when Along came My Chemical Romance.
My friends and I freaked out a lil bit (scaring Mikey somewhat). One by one all five members walked down the alley way; Ray, then Bob, then Frank, then Mikey and then I saw him, leather jacket and all, a godlike creature named Gerard. I may have stopped breathing for longer than humanly possible but nothing (not even lack of oxygen) was going to stop me from talking to Gerard. I made my way towards him, ignoring the glares from his security guards and talked to Gerard for a couple of minutes and he even gave me and my friends a highfive. Gerard, along with Ray and Bob, signed some stuff for us . Ray and Bob were some of the nicest people I have ever met in my life, and Gerard was a sweetheart too of course. Mikey was so shy and Frank, well, Frank didn't even look at us as he walked past. I like to think he was in a hurry, but who knows.
I didn’t have a chance to get a photo before they were whizzed back stage which is enormously disappointing but nothing could have dampened my spirit that night. I got to meet and talk to 4 out of 5 members of My chemical Romance and hifive Gerard Way, what more could a girl want?
All in all I'd say it was a pretty amazing night. The best day of my life to be exact.
