Star Trek Art Memes
I have once decided that I would never do one of those Star Trek art memes that keep popping up everywhere. And I was right.
1. My cat is not my cat, but she's awesome anyway, and has all parts in the right place.
2. Edward Cullen would hide in shame if he ever met Captain James More-Awesome-Than-You Kirk!
3. Yeah, the scene was cliché. So what? It was half-naked Sulu! (Certainly explains the title of that episode.)
4. I blame shivvalan for, well, pretty much everything.
5. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. DeForest Kelley would be spinning in his grave if he had one.
6. I know that's not what they meant. But you don't go and draw a Klingon if you don't have to. At least I don't.
7. I'm sorry. Again. Unfortunately, Patrick Steward is still alive and can come to get me for this. I'll be suspicious of dark corners for a while.
8. More Tribbles. You can never have enough Tribbles! Becaue they are freaking easy to draw.
9. I could think of a few, but this was the first that came to mind. Also, Evil Mirror Spock FTW!

1. Let this picture be a warning: This turned out as more of a TOS than a Reboot meme. (And I'm so not taking the red shirt again.)
2. I don't hate Chekov. I liked the Walter Koenig version - probably because I loved Babylon 5 and am somewhat convinced that he is secretly evil - and I don't mind the new one, despite his Appealing-To-15-Years-Olds look. (Not to mock any new!Chekov fans older than 15 here, I'm biased.) I'm just annoyed by the way fandom turns him into a Mary Sue. Fandom!Chekov is very much like Fandom!Ianto to me, and if I see another fic in which everyone is trying to get into his pants, I'm going to scream. The Chekov in my mind (=dark haird, possibly secretly evil) doesn't do it with anyone, except Sulu in the Captain's chair when there's no one else around, because they are kinky like that.
Ahem.
3. Not true, actually, but it's damn easy to draw!
4. Also not necessarily true, though I like it a lot. I don't have a favourite pairing. As long as Bones is part of it, I'm happy. (Unless it's Reboot and they pair him with Chekov.)
5. Sorry. Not going to explain. No one will understand this except German ST fans who happen to have seen Michael Mittermeier's show "Zapped". And possibly nightrider101.
6. I haven't seen this in any of these memes before. Also, any excuse to draw EMS. :P
7. Let's face it: De Kelley was a skinny bastard. And he was the only one of the original cast who actually lost weight as the years went on.
8. Nuff said. I want more of that. The new movie was sadly lacking in S/Mc interaction.
9. This is another one I haven't seen done before, and I must say, I'm surprised. I mean, it's the classic Star Trek catchprase. (And I use it plenty. It goes with everything.)
But Scotty does "die" a lot, doesn't he? And at least once for real. Must be the freaking red shirt. Poor Scotty.

Yeah, so there you see what I did the last two days. If it'sany consolation, I also wrote a bit. And none of it was Star Trek releated.
