Old Comics
The Doctor Who Dictionary comics I'm drawing (whenever I have a scanner at hand) aren't the first comics I made inspired by random words from the dictionary. A couple of years ago I drew the first series: The Discworld Dictionary.
Since I'm currently using the new Finishing WIPs community to try and finish a Discworld fanfic of mine so old it isn't even on livejournal, I thought this would be a good time to upload these comics in my journal. So here they are, all 26 at once.
The drawings are very simple, the look of the characters is based on my first impressions and is unlikely to coincide with your ideas of them, and the first one telling me that Nobby isn't ungly and Sybil isn't fat enough will be banned for life. (In my denfence, SDs are fat by nature. What's the point?)
In other words, these were drawn for the punchlines, not for artistic quality.
Not all ideas allowed for very good punchlines, though.
