I really like this! You paint a sad and bleak picture and I would imagine that's how it was. Thanks for sharing!

I knew this was going to hurt!

It was tragic - the picture you painted was so very bleak. And seeing Nine! I hadn't expected that. He left Fitz. :(

All he could do now was hope that the universe at least would survive, and make this all worth it. A noble thought to go with. Fitz tried to actually mean it.

I love Fitz's thoughts when faced with his own death. It's pretty hard to be heroic when there's nothing to do.

Amazing addition to your table! This is another one of my favorites!

Thank you very much!
Fitz is always heroic while being absolutely not heroic at all. It makes him quite easy to write.

Gah! That was wonderful and sad. Excellent work. Also:

Maybe it had to do with their ego being so hard to satisfy that even the furniture had to acknowledge their presence.

QFT, rofl, heheheheh.

Oh yes, I can definitely see it happening like that, all of it, and poor Fitz knows enough to know that he probably doesn't want to know anymore. Yes, definitely can see it, painful as it is.

I'm so glad Fitz exists. He's tragically perfect for stories like this.
Also, your icon... is there something wrong with me that I instantly associate ciggarettes with Fitz?

He really, really is.

It's harder not to associate cigs with Fitz. Then again, that might be my own proclivities showing.

This is lovely, even being terribly painful.
All he could do now was hope that the universe at least would survive, and make this all worth it. A noble thought to go with. Fitz tried to actually mean it. That's very Fitz, right there.

Thank you very much!
Fitz is easy to write, probably because he is very easy to understand.
