Wow. Once again, I'm in awe of the images you're able to create with your writing. I was able to picture this heart breaking scene so easily.

He has regenerated, has left her with one face and returned with another. Gazing into his eyes, already suffering from so much age, she smiles and thinks of all the times she has hated him a little more than she loved him. It seems silly now, childish. Lying broken on the ground of her burning planet it is so easy to forgive.

I loved the description of their relationship. You also made a good point. It's amazing how many silly things we worry about in our daily lives. What really matters when you're entire planet is being torn apart?
