I don't know where you get these ideas and images from, but they're quite lovely and seem like canon. Have a safe journey. Looking forward to Shade of course.

Thanks! I'm three pages into the next chapter, but it's dragging along.

I really love the longing feeling you've got in this fic. (It's something I can relate to, which makes it all the more powerful. ^^) The last paragraph is a wonderful metaphor that more or less sums up their entire lives, I think. And the mention of Gallifrey! Foreshadowing! :(

Anyway, I hope you have a great time at Denmark! But a week without internet...! O__O

The weeks without internet is being made even more worse by the fact that Tennant was on FNP tonight and it's unlikely to be up on youtube before I leave...
But, well. Time for writing stuff.

Lovely icon, by the way!

I know, the icon's brilliant! :D

The Partners in Crime clip is up on youtube. It looks great! And there'll probably be an internet cafe in Denmark?

I've already seen the clip, too bad it's so short.
From what I've heard they read some excerpts from fanfics, one het and one slash, to him. I can't wait to see that!

Utterly lovely. It's amazing how much you manage to pack into such a short snapshot moment.

Wonderful characterization of Theta - his brilliance and impatience with school and his oh-so-genuine enthusiasm and his ability to sweep people along.
Somehow he always managed to get just as many questions right as was absolutely needed. Koschei had seen his tests, and wondered sometimes how much longer their teachers would fail to notice that every once in a while he failed at the easier ones but solved problems even Koschei had to struggle with.
Perfect

And you hit just the right note with Koschei as the more buttoned-down of the two as well with his more sullen dissatisfaction. I love of how both of them are yearning to go out into the universe but with such a different emotional flavor.

I miss you already. *le sigh* :) Hopefully you're having the time of your life with your family and writing us lots of wonderful fanfic!

Now, my review:

You're able to paint the most vivid images with your choice of words. I love the rebel in Theta. I can't say I blame him having skipped class once or twice in my day. :)

But apparently going with Theta meant jumping into cold water now and then. Koschei smiled softly to himself as he shed his own robes and walked down the narrow shore, to see what the lake had to offer.

Koschei doesn't know how right his thoughts are! I love seeing the history between these two characters. You do such an amazing job with it.

This story was the first thing that I read on Whofic (then I found you here) and the very moment I saw it I fell in love with it. It's so kind and warm, I like the atmosphere of childhood and dreams. On the other hand, it's a bit of philosophy and sadness; in short - it's perfect.
Also I have a request. The point is that I'd like to translate and post it on the Russian site but I need to get your permission for that :)

Thank you for the comment! It's always nice to receive comments on old fics and be reminded that they exist. :)

And yes, you have my permission to translate and post my story. I'm flattered that you want to. I'd like to ask you to give me a link to the translated version when you are done, though. (Quite a few fics of mine have been translated to Russian and Chinese and I'm currently trying to track them all down and make a list for the convenience of other Russian and Chinese DW and SPN fans who come across my journal.)

Hi, it's me again, the Anonymous :) I'm sorry for not responding for so long. Maybe it's real life that got in the way. However, I'm ready with your story and going to post it right now. But I wonder what link you want me to give: the one from Whofic or from here. And also I'm confused by your double nickname :) Is it "schildkroete" or "vail_kagami"?

Nice hearing from you again! Don't worry about the long break, I am not exactly Miss Active myself these days. About the name, I go by both depending on the archive. If you link to the original story (which is posted on both) use the name that goes with the corresponding post. Otherwise, vail-akagami would probably be best, since I'm much more active on lj and AO3.
