There are quite a lot of stories I'd like to write, if I ever find the time. They include the following:

Jack/John Smith: In which Jack, during his 100+ years on Earth meets Mr Smith and tries to get into his pants, somehow manages not meeting Martha and totally fails to realize Smith is, in fact, the Doctor. And while we're at it:

Not at all. I am right now feeding them carrots! Because I really, really want to see Jack taking over the world. And I want to see Jack dealing with dead!Doctor.

I do have another one planed, for my table, in which Jack and the Master are stuck together for decades because the Doctor had died (Master's fault!) and Jack keeps the Master locked up and safe, because the Doctor would want his species to survive and because Jack wants the Master to suffer just like him. In other words, they both lose it, completely. But it'll be a while before I write that, since I don't want it to be seen as a continuation of 'The Spoils of War'.

I do hope you find the time to write that one day, since it sounds really intriguing.
And now I'm off to read your new chapter. I'm supposed to sleep, damnit! (It's 4:54 in the morning.)

I love the idea of the first two. I thought Human Nature/Family of Blood were wonderful. Embarassed to say I don't know who Rickston Slade is. If he's from the Titanic episode it hasn't aired here yet. Not sure how livejournal works, hope it's ok to post comments even though I'm not a writer. Adore your stuff Vail, and have been making them into ebooks, but can't find the last 3 parts of Hourglass. Any chance of a link? Could you recommend (by email if you'd rather) other really good Ten fics? I'm definitely addicted now and hungering for more. Still checking daily for updates of Shade of Somewhere Else.

Why, of course it's okay. If only writers posted comments we'd never get any feedback at all. (Since, unfortunately, many writers tend not to comments on other peoples works.)

I'm facing lots and lots of work for university but will try to write the next chapter as soon as possible.

Ooh I love the sound of all of those ideas! Especially the Jack/John Smith, the Jack/Ten and the Theta/Koschei ideas! Can't wait!
