Rec-a-weekend 2015 | Week 12

Title: and darlin', you'll be gone in the morning
Author: philthestone
Fandom: Star Wars
Characters/Pairings: Leia Organa/Han Solo
Summary: She wonders, staring up at the cracked ceiling of her (his) cabin, whether or not her twelve year old self would have ever imagined her to at some point in the future land herself in a situation where she is lying naked in an (ex?) smuggler’s cabin while escaping the wrath of the Galactic Empire, stranded in space with no light speed, a disturbingly perceptive wookiee and a droid whose only function seems to be worrying.
Wordcount: 2.672
Why it's awesome: It's a great character piece on Leia in a too-long moment with nothing to do while drifting in a ship with a broken engine - when there's nothing to distract her from the memories of her captivity, the grief of losing her homeworld, or the fact that she's falling in love with the worst person ever.
