Aww. *sniff* You have to continue! This story AND Colour of Light. The Doctor as a wreck = good. Eheheh... No really, I'm all for it. You write so well using so few words. :D

This story sound like doctors broken heart needs the last time lord to love him, he need to feel the love that they may have ones had.
but everyone knows that the Master wont do that, even if he knew that was the way to save him, it was kill him if he had to do that!.

Well I can't speak for everyone else, but I think I could probably bear quite a lot of that. I have a high tolerance for Doctor angst, and you write it so well! :)

I really like that you didn't take the easy way out by simply having the Doctor being magically cured by some macguffin. This was a far more painful resolution but worked very well.

If you don't mind me saying (and I'm always quite nervous giving constructive criticism) there are quite a few typos in this part ("treat" instead of "threat" etc)you might want to give it another once over.
